This lecture on small animal clinical toxicology will focus on commonly encountered outdoor toxins such as blue green algae (cyanobacteria), mushrooms, insecticides, and herbicides. For each toxin, we will review the associated clinical signs, mechanism of action, and treatment plans for management of cats and dogs exposed to these substances.
